Text Box:   About our Council Member   Text Box: Born and bred in the UK with an Anglican background, it was only upon his second posting to Singapore in 1995 that he truly began to witness the power of the Holy Spirit and the reality of God’s existence in his life.   God began His work in all areas of his life, his family and his work. He found a greater willingness to give his time for the church and to people he did not know well. His first foray into ministry came in 1998, when he helped set up a church library which he ran for 5 years. It was through exposure to a whole range of books that he gained a more in depth connection with God.   Later that year, he felt the urging of the Holy Spirit to join the teaching staff in the Sunday school, and immediately found a heart for kids and creativity in teaching. Creativity did not stop there. He began to serve in the drama ministry performing in evangelistic meetings, reaching out in a new manner.   Each of these lessons has been a new beginning in his personal walk, and has led him to step up to the challenge of council membership.   In the secular world, Andy has recently retrained into the IT sector after a 20 year career in financial markets. He is married to a Singaporean wife, Kelly with 2 children Fiona and Matthew.
